Write a Short Note on Migratory Birds :-

The periodic travelling of birds from one place to another and back is called Bird Migration. Types of migration -: Latitudinal Migration and Altitudinal Migration. The migration from North to South and vice versa is called Latitudinal Migration. The migration of birds from mountain top  to valleys is called Altitudinal Migration. 

Migratory Birds navigate using the sun  , stars  , rivers , mountain ranges, valleys  , coastlines and earth's magnetic field. Birds migrate because migrate birds get more food and better living conditions. Birds migrate to areas where food is more abundant. The migrant birds get long daylight hours for researching food. 

And Birds migrate to disperse their own breed to different regions. Birds migrate at different speeds. Many migrate at speeds as fast as 200 kilometers per hour. Birds migrate to suitable temperate climates and places where it is easy for them to build nests.
