• Chief Secretary Vini Mahajan Launches Punjab Police’s “ Cyber Surakhya ” Campaign :

Vini Mahajan has launched a three month long cyber campaign “ Cyber Surakhya ”   in Punjab on the occasion of Universal Children ’ Day being celebrated on 20^th November Every Year.

The campaign would provide information to women and children for ways and means to ensure privacy while using online platforms. Campaign is started for stop cyber crimes.

•  Captain Amrinder Singh govt to launch Punjab Divyangjan Shaktikaran Yojna to empower persons with disabilities :

Scheme is started by Social Security and Women and Child Development department, is aimed at providing a barrier free environment to persons with disabilities in a phased manner.

Sangrur district bagged the best District Award in ‘ North Water Conservation National Award ’ category organized by ministry of Jal Shakti.
